My incentive to be nice :) Miss her so much.. That said, my horns have been showing themselves for quite a bit recently and I think I should try and give people time - like how they try to give me time to settle down as well.

You speak with your parents over the phone. I called home for the first time today on my way back to rootes and really, I think I almost cried in front of a whole lot of people.
That said, it also made me feel much better…
Guess what?!
Sailing in 11deg is CRA-ZAY. No thick waterproof jacket so I was freezing in the wetsuit they gave me. Plus I also squeezed my lumpy self into a wetsuit half my size. I also forgot how to read the wind etc etc. But thankfully I was still able to do a roll tack, go upwind, gybe… Wheeeee!
Oh well. I’ld do the whole squeeze-in-wetsuit-and-freeze thing all over again anytime - it felt so...

Horrible day in point
1. Missed lecture on tort because I thought it was like the old system - same lecture, different times.
2. Got a copy of law homework, and then misplaced it.
3. Lloyds lost my debit card in the mail, which means I can only collect it one week later.
4. Which also means I can’t get my uk number yet!
5. Made people mad at me and made myself an anti-social idiot again. I don’t...
The cd shop at the Warwick Arts Center is pretty good. Almost everything there is 10GBP and below!
Was so tempted to get a cd by Explosions in the Sky.

I enjoy myself when I meet up with friends. It’s the I-will-not-have-something-like-this-for-a-loooooooong-time that sucks.
But sometimes when I think about it, Change isn’t that scary - it’s part of life. Change, however, is hard to accept.
Leaving
So I leave for london in less than a week. Sca-ray. Yet there’s this part of me that is so so so excited to start classes and meet new people and try new things.
Each time I think about the 28th, I tell myself: This is IT.
The First.
In less than a month, I will leave this sunny island that I call home and head for the green, grassy fields of England to read law. This tumblr site was set up as a board of all sorts, with semi-personal musings and anything interesting that details my three years away from Singapore.
