I just came back from a walk around campus - nice cool weather plus it was fun watching carbon dioxide being converted into water vapour. There were so many things running through my mind as I walked; the warm humid weather in Singapore, parents, my grandma in malaysia and the song I sang before I left, friends in Singapore, God, choices, my lovely niece and crazy brother-in-law, chatterbox, my sisters, my life, living here….
As much as I want to go home, I’ve got a university degree to finish and a university life to lead before I really make my way back to Singapore. So suck thumb, chin up and.. and. be brave/strong/courageous whatever; for the first rays of dawn come only after the darkest hours, and the skies above are infinitely larger than the monster below.
Life can be better, only after a while.
